Anderson Ranch Arts Center, a premier destination for art making and critical dialogue in the contemporary art world, announces its 2018 Summer Workshops! Anderson Ranch invites artists of all levels—aspiring, emerging and established—to learn from renowned faculty across eight disciplines, and to draw inspiration from the Ranch’s rich, artist-led history. This summer guest faculty will teach over 150 workshops.
Applications for scholarship support are encouraged. Specific scholarships are funded by Ranch supporters, both individuals and foundations, either through endowed funds or special gifts. Scholarship applicants are asked to provide a statement addressing their artistic merit, their potential for artistic development through our programs, and financial need.
Most scholarships cover part or all of the tuition; the registration fee, studio fee, housing, meals, travel and supplies are the responsibility of the student. There is targeted funding for graduating high school seniors, currently-enrolled undergraduate and graduate students. You must check the appropriate box on the online application form in order to be considered.
Applications for adult scholarships must be submitted via our online application by February 16, 2018.
Full-time undergraduate and graduate students, K-12 teachers and college professors who missed the February scholarship deadline are welcome to apply for a 50% tuition scholarship, which is offered on a standby, spaceavailable basis. In order to qualify for this scholarship, you must wait until 30 days prior to the start of the workshop to enroll. If a workshop in which you are interested is still open 30 days before the start date, you may enroll at half the cost of tuition once you have submitted documentation of your status as a student or teacher. Tuition, studio fee, registration fee and housing (if available) are all due in full at the time of registration.
